Looks like Taiwan’s tourism program will be set for a long time. That’s because public pole dancing and strip teasing has been the latest craze in this usually timid and quiet side of the world.

But apparently, this extravaganza is not new in Taiwan after all. It’s been years since Taiwanese started organizing events and celebrations such as weddings, birthday parties and even temple and religious activities involving a very tall pole and bunch of sexy Taiwanese female strippers.

The events are usually done off a truck that unfolds into a self-contained stage and parked in an open space where a crowd can gather and enjoy the show. There are also times that the stage-slash-truck is just parked along the road, usually causing hours of traffic jam in the busy cities of Taiwan.
