Just after a month of operations, Naked News Korea abruptly closed down amidst allegations that CEO John Chau disappeared with all of the company’s money. Naked News Korea is a program that features topless news anchors delivering the hottest and late6st news from Korea and the world.

Four of the news anchors of the program - Choi Sun yi, Han Min Kyung, Lee Se Yeon and Jin Jae Kyung - are all crying foul in a press conference lasy July 30, saying that they weren’t even paid for the service they rendered for the company. “We will fight to the end against Naked News Korea for lying to us and the nation,” they said in an interview with the Korean press.

Naked News Korea had ceased to provide news updates due to internal issues which included owing the 9 presenters and other staff about 2-3 months of wages among others. All of the staff have no clue about what’s going on and could only say that they have been cheated by John Chau. The matter has been been bought to the attention of the Labor Ministry while the police have also started investigations into fraud allegations against John Chau.
